Wildlife Emergency Services offers another fake reward for coyote shooter, Rebecca Dmytryk

Rebecca Dmytryk offers another fake reward from her group Wildlife Emergency Services. This time it's for the identity of the shooter of the coyote. They will never find that person which is why Rebecca Dmytryk made the fake offer.

http://patch.com/california/echopark/wildlife-rescue-raises-reward-silver-lake-coyote-killer

The last time Rebecca Dmytryk offered a fake reward it was for the identity of the person who put beer cans on seagulls. They knew they'd never have to pay that reward as they most likely were the ones who put the beer cans on the seagulls heads! Everyone called them out on that.

They "capture" the seagull with the beer can on the head. They stated he hasn't been able to eat or drink for weeks because of the beer can. He'd be dead if that were true. They remove the beer can with scissors when they could have easily slipped it off his head. The feathers are perfect under the beer can! They let the bird go and he flies back to them! Such frauds.

Not only that but this fake organization Wildlife Emergency Services doesn't even have $1,000 per their own accounting. That isn't even their real name. The real name is National Association of Wildlife Emergency Services. Rebecca Dmytrk started an organization to try to appear like a government agency. Rebecca Dmytryk wanted all rescuers, pest control operators to give her money to join her private group so she could boss them around and tell them what to do.

Remember when an opossum was shot with two arrows in the head? Rebecca Dmytryk DEMANDED that all rehabbers tell her who has the opossum. Then she DEMANDED that all rehabbers go and post her flyers so she could beg for money. Rebecca Dmytryk lives in Northern California. She is not coming down here to pass out flyers about the opossum or coyote.

And again, Rebecca Dmytry has NEVER been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator per California Department of Fish & Wildlife.

Here is the association associated with the EIN. They started in 2011/2011 and never posted a tax return or a financial document. It is just Rebecca Dmytryk.

Rebecca Dmytryk private pest control business, selling wildlife apps online

Some people asked me recently about Rebecca Dmytryk. Seems Rebecca Dmytryk is yet again trying to get paid contract work with the city of Los Angeles. She offers "free" coyote training and information for animal control officers and the city. This is a foot in the door to demand money for services. Previously she didn't just ask the city for money. She tried to extort them by threatening to file a false report about them to Fish & Wildlife.

Below is a link to her private for profit pest control business. I don't know if she has a trapping permit which is needed by law to trap wildlife for removal. She is not a wildlife rehabilitator so she can't trap to rescue them without a permit. I don't believe she is a licensed pest control operator. I do know that she doesn't know what she's doing when it comes to raccoon trapping. She ended up trapping raccoon mothers leaving the babies abandoned. Wildlife rehabilitators then had to go rescue the babies. Rebecca Dmytryk caused many babies to be orphaned.

http://www.humanecontrol.com/

She still states she is in charge of Wildlife Emergency Services. http://www.wildlifeservices.org/ Rebecca Dmytryk gives this EIN 45-5505661. If you put in that number in guidestar.org, you get http://www.guidestar.org/profile/45-5505661 The name of this organization is actually NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR WILDLIFE SEARCH AND RESCUE.

Rebecca Dmytryk wanted to start an association for all wildlife people. She wanted to make everyone pay to join to get her accreditation. She of course would rule it making up the rules as she goes. No one wanted to join. Why would someone pay to join a group where you are controlled by someone who is not a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or rescuer?

As you can see they haven't filed tax returns. By law she must file at least a 990N. They have done nothing since 2012 when they first became a non-profit.

Years ago Rebecca Dmytryk begged everyone for $30,000 to build a phone tree for wildlife help. I had one for free on my phone. Again, Rebecca Dmytryk keeps asking for money to help wildlife which she does not help. I built the tree out of necessity. I was on the phone all day long. That's also why I have a ton of free manuals, how to articles and blogs about wildlife issues. I couldn't handle the calls.

Rebecca Dmytryk then decided to tell people she was building an app. She started more gofundme's to raise money to basically copy the app other people already made. She sent out press releases about the app. I'm going to check out the app. Hope it doesn't damage my phone.

Rebecca Dmytryk supports people who commit animal cruelty, murder animals and break the law - Bankrupt

Rebecca Dmytryk of WildRescue posts nasty false things about people "anonymously." She doesn't realize that the author of her "anonymous" blogs and posts is not anonymous. The link goes directly to her Blogger profile with this photo. It even says "Rebecca Dmytryk."

Rebecca Dmytryk, WildRescue, bankrupt, fraud, scammer, california, widlife, rescue, not, no permit, not a wildlife rehabilitator, bankruptcy fraud, theft, perjury, cheater.
Every time Rebecca Dmytryk tries to be anonymous she just solidifies her true identity. All her anonymous blogs show her name, photo...

Rebecca Dmytryk is posting links to some disgusting blogs that love to talk about my "vagina," "breasts," "ass" and "crotch." For the life of me why does Rebecca Dmytryk who is approaching senior citizen status want to act like a revolting juvenile delinquent?

Rebecca Dmytryk started new FB pages about me. They were removed as "obscenity," "hate speech," "hate symbol," "threatening" and "violent." Rebecca Dmytryk and her husband are having major financial issues because they refuse to work. They prefer to pretend they are wildlife rehabilitators or rescuers when they are not.

Rebecca Dmytryk, Wildlife Emergency Services gets called out by true experts

Someone in a Yahoo group posted about a trapped animal. Rebecca Dmytryk the self professed "expert" responded with this crap. Rebecca Dmytryk charges for advice, illegal trapping, anything she can because she doesn't have a job. She lives off her for profit non-profit. Remember Rebecca Dmytryk has never had a rehab permit ever. She does not have a trapping permit, USDA permit, is not a licensed pest control operator, has no permits whatsoever. Here she is telling us rehabbers not to help people. We should refer them to her so she can make money off the animal. This is why Rebecca Dmytryk is so nasty. We do all of this for free. We don't charge because we care about animals.

"PLEASE refer callers to one of our local humane wildlife control specialists. You can find them listed here:

http://www.humanew****ildlifec ontrol.org/

Just give them any of those numbers or give them our number 855-548-6263 so we can deal with them appropriately. By that I mean, we can talk them through and talk them in to giving us their address, usually.

There are plenty of solutions, but each situation is different, so please, do not give out advice, leave it to the specialists who deal with ___ like this every day. Okay?

Another thing is, We - those of us who are competing with the exterminators - we need the jobs (and the animals need our help) - so don't try and solve a person's problem with free advice - give them "our" numbers. Please.

Rebecca Dmytryk
Wildlife Emergency Services"

Here are some responses to Rebecca Dmytryk's nonsense.

"I thought this group is about sharing information.  We are all capable people and if we are giving out wrong information, then tell us what the right answer should be.  Your insistence on being the only one capable of helping callers is not a helpful solution.  Telling us not to give free advice and to send them to you so that you can make money, isn’t either."

"my thoughts also Laura   thank you"

"We are " it" here in Tahoe - no one else to give info or any humane wildlife specialists so we HAVE to have it right!"

Rebecca Dmytryk makes a ridiculous reply. She says she isn't the only one capable of helping. Then she says she is the only one capable of helping. She knows full well warden won't do a damn thing. Here she says that rehabbers should be referring her business so she can make money. Again, I do this for free. I am licensed. She is not.

"Let me be clear - Norma - Laura - I am NOT saying the I am the ONLY ONE capable of helping callers and I am NOT asking that all calls be sent to me - not at all!!!

I am asking that calls about nuisance wildlife go to those who are providing humane wildlife control services.

And, yes, it makes the most sense to let the experts handle it!

Case in point - today's call about the raccoon, if I'd handled it, for example, I'd have the address of the person and have contacted a warden by now.

Those of us who do this day in and day out are skilled at knowing what to say and how to say it… at least a good deal of the time. : )

Too often - daily, really, I get calls from people who are totally frustrated because a rehabber told them to put ammonia on a rag or mothballs in the crawlspace or whatever - and it didn't work (BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK!) and then I have a much, much, MUCH harder time asking them to work with me rather than call the exterminator!

Laura - what is it about referring humane wildlife control professionals that you don't agree with? Please answer.

It absolutely makes perfect sense for rehabbers to refer experts, and it's easy to just simply say "Let me send you to the experts who can help you with your wildlife problem. Here are their numbers…" - or take their number and email one of us to call them. Easy. And you don't have to spend time talking them through a situation that can take 10-20 minutes to do it the right way.

We need the support, too. Do you want us to fail or succeed at what we're trying to do here, Laura?

Support the humane wildlife control professionals, don't undermine us!

Rebecca Dmytryk"

Another reply.

"Rebecca  if you re-read your original email from our eyes  it does sound like  you are saying  you and yours are the only ones that can handle situation like this.     Not true, most of us were handling this stuff long before you and yours moved to N. Cal." and "you do not rehab."

another

"I get a lot of nuisance animal and trapping questions.  I get at least the phone number (I tell them that my phone is running low and would they give me their number so if it dies I can call them back or they show up on caller ID) and often get an address because they think I am going to drop everything and come out.  After 23 years I am comfortable in giving information, especially the problems of trapping and relocating, the issues of babies and yes, if you don't fix the problem you will be calling me back.

A majority of people do not want to pay for a service and never make the call to the referral but go ahead an take care of it themselves.

I find that as someone they know takes in these animals and cares for them they feel I am not only compassionate, as well as passionate, but knowledgeable.  I try not to tell them WHAT to do but what they should do.  Some people care about the animal and some could care less.

As far as contacting a warden, good luck!  I have contacted wardens, CalTip, Nicole and everyone possible to resolve a problem and no one ever followed through.  I will say, we got a new warden two years ago and I am having good luck with him at least making a call and he did go out, on a weekend, to get a baby squirrel from someone who would not give it up so I am very hopeful that this is finally going to be an option."

"I think there are a lot of resources and yours is certainly one that should be encouraged but rehabilitators are often the first responders to the problems and can answer many questions and do have the knowledge.  I don't think there is any one person who knows it all."

another reply

"Here in Humboldt we've been working to make "humane solutions" the policy of the county as well as trying to get local CDFW support. This hasn't been exactly like falling off a log. We don't have terrific support from the local CDFW office in Eureka - they seem to be pretty old school - and refer most of their calls to the county trapper, ie USDA Wildlife Services who have stupidly trapped and killed hundreds of raccoons, skunks, and opossums in the last 3 years (see www.birdallyx.net for more detailed info)

We have started our Humane Solutions program, much like WildCare, Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue, and Lindsay Wildlife Museum, to address this by offering a real alternative. This has been effective case by case, but doesn't work very quickly n the big picture. So advocacy and outreach, which are mainstays of wildlife rehabilitators everywhere are necessary. Effective education for rehabilitators (no one is born knowing how to talk a crazy person who wants to trap a skunk down from the ledge) is critical. While professional services are awesome, in CA and many other places, those people are few and far between. When the choice is between a "county trapper" and trying to solve the problem over the phone at the time of the call, it's hard to pick referring the person to another entity whom they may or may not call."

another

"Two things to add:

1. WildCare successfully helped lobby Marin County to stop hiring a trapper. It was costing taxpayer money and we were able to convince the county that there were other ways that worked better than just shooting animals. Donkeys and llamas to protect sheep from coyotes, etc. Something to think about.

2. Wonderful news that CCWR is offering phone service coaching. I’d like to add that fundraising should be an integral part of that — not at the moment of the call, but if you are sure to get complete phone and mailing information, you can come back later in the season and send a fundraising appeal to those people. Our “Hotline” callers turn out to have an even better response (in the form of donations) than our clinic rescuers — and our phone staff doesn’t even get 1/3 of the callers' information! We end up having to go back over phone logs (essential!) and doing reverse lookups to get mailing addresses. These callers must be very grateful to have had the advice.  Think how many more donations we’d get if we could capture more info at the time of every call!"

I can tell you from personal experience that Rebecca Dmytryk does not know what the hell she is doing. In the Moorpark rabid bat incident I gave free consulting, advice, climbed on the roof, gave them a written plan all for free. Dmytryk heard about this and bad mouthed me to the city and other agencies along with crazy lady *****. All the agencies realized they were nuts and only worked with me. Rebecca Dmytryk wanted the city to pay her and her husband to replace the tile roof of all houses in that tract! That is the stupidest advice I have ever heard. Rebecca Dmytryk only wants money.

Rebecca Dmytryk's mother is Bennie Jean Porter Dmytryk, divorced from Edward Dmytryk who was not born in Canada but Austria

And yet another comment which included part of Edward Dmytryk's autobiography. Edward Dmytryk was a story teller. He states he left home at the age of 14. He still lived at home at the age of 21 in 1930 per the census. His occupation was listed as film cutter for picture studio. Later that year it was listed as assistant director at movie studio.

Another interesting twist is that at first his father Michael said his first wife Frances divorced him. Later he changed the story to she died. He claims to have had a third wife whom he married in 1930 or 1931 yet he didn't know her birth date or last name.
_________________________

Someone sent in a comment stating Edward Dmytryk was born in Canada. He was not. He was born in Austria per many immigration documents. The exact town has had a few names including Lemberg, Poland. It's basically in what is the Ukraine.

Edward's father was Michael Dmytryk born August 15, 1878 in Burakowka, Austria. Michael married Franceska Berezovska in Austria in 1904. Together they had four children Harold "Harry" (real first name is Hillary) Dmytryk (changed his last name to Dmitrik to get away from the red scare) (Austria 1906-1970), Arthur (real first name Jaroslaw also went by Jerry and Edgar Huntington to get away from being named member of the communist party) Dmytryk (Austria 1910-1978), Edward Dmytryk (Austria 1908-1999) and William Dmytryk (Canada 1914-1996). These are all publicly available documents. They even questioned whether to naturalize members of the family because they were members of communist parties. Those letters are also public.

Frances left Hamburg, Germany on May 1911 with her three sons and arrived in Quebec, Canada on October 23, 1911. It would be impossible for Edward to have been born in Canada before he or his family were ever in Canada. William Dmytryk was born while they were in Canada. The family then went to Stevens, Marcus, Washington on April 1916. They ended up in Oakland, San Francisco, Alameda County in 1918. Edward's mother died sometime between April 1916 and October 1918 when his father remarried.

Rebecca Dmytryk's mother is indeed Bennie Jean Porter Dmytryk who is the ex-wife of Edward Dmytryk. Someone sent in a comment saying Edward Dmytryk did not divorce Jean Porter Dmytryk his wife. Yes, he did in the 1970's.  I posted the document here. I'll post it again. I never lie or post untrue facts.

Edward Dmytryk divorced, divorce, marriage, married Jean Porter Dmytryk, Bennie Jean Porter
The same person then sent in a post saying that Bennie Jean Porter Dmytryk is not Jean Dmytryk. Here is Bennie Jean Porter's birth certificate. These are all public documents. You just need to know where to look.

Jean Porter, Jean Dmytryk, Edward Dmytryk, Rebecca Dmytryk, Bennie Jean Porter birth certificate
That same person said I must have my tree wrong. No, I don't. Here it is. This took me five minutes to make. These are public documents. I go back two more generations for Jean Porter. I don't go back for Edward Dmytryk's grandparents because I don't want to have to pay the $5 for international access. His parents were born in Austria. First three kids born in Austria. Only the last one was born in Canada. They took their family to the US when all their sons were babies.
