Rebecca Dmytryk kicked out of California Wildlife Center

From court documents. The California Wildlife Center filed a restraining order against Rebecca Dmytryk. After she was voted off the board she refused to leave the premises, stole money, property...

"This case results from the unauthorized conduct by defendant Rebecca Dmytryk a recently removed and now disgruntled former member of the board of directors of the california wildlife center. By a majority vote of the board at a special meeting held on January 29, 2000 at Dmytryk's request, plaintiff Aaron Frank and the only other present board member Janice Nokira voted to remove Dmytryk from the board as a result of her inability to work with the center's paid staff and volunteers and her generally hostile disposition. Instead of turning over possession of the center's property and control of access to the premises to Frank or Nokira, Dmytryk instead has resorted to self-help tactics by taking the center, its property, and the premises hostage in a last ditch effort to salvage her position with the center.

Among other things, Dmytryk has used her threatening disposition to drive the Center's paid staff, the other board members and a majority of the volunteers off the premises. In addition, Dmytryk changed the locks to the residence of Frank and the center's other paid employee, Dawn Marie Smith, and placed their personal property on the street. Dmytryk also has absconded with the center's bank accounts, disabled its emergency response system and prevented the paid staff, board members and volunteers from accessing their telephones and voice-mail.

As a result the center's operations have come to a screeching half. Volunteers have been instructed not to appear on the premises and, instead, Dmytryk has moved onto the premises and is believed to be using it as her own personal residence." 

Glenda Singer affidavit, "Since I began working at the center, I have found Ms. Dmytryk to be tyrannical and unappreciative of the efforts of the volunteers. In fact, I have experienced trouble retaining volunteers due to Ms. Dmytryk's disposition.

Most recently on February 6, 2000 at 11:30 a.m. I was working at the center in an attempt to update the computer's database regarding the center's school education program. Without provocation Ms. Dmytryk walked over to the computer and turned off the computer. Thereafter I stood up and Ms. Dmytryk followed me around the center before (1) instructing me to gather my personal belongings; (2) grabbing an office supplies box out of my hand; (3) accusing me of improperly spending the center's funds and (4) demanding that I leave the center. 

My primacy concern s that the center continue to operate by caring for the animals currently being treated and that the center's future is protected by a return of control of the center to Mr. Frank." 

Janice Nikora affidavit, "There recently has been a developing tension between Ms. Dmytryk and Mr. Frank. It is my belief that this tension results directly from Mr. Dmytryk's inability to work constructively with others." 

Dawn Marie Smith affidavit. "As the director of animal care at the center, it is imperative that I reside on the Center's property. I was advised by several volunteers that a return to my residence at the center would endanger my safety. As a result I did not attempt to go home until today. When I returned I discovered that all of my personal property had been placed outside my residence and the locks had been changed. My continued absence from the center endangers the animals currently being treat as well as the ability of the center to continue operating."

I Mary Cummins have known Rebecca Dmytryk since 2002. I totally agree with what these people said in their affidavits.  She has major social problems, does not work well with others and actually attacks other people. I was told she was kicked off the oil spill team because of her personality problems. I know from dealing with her that she is extremely vicious and hostile. She does not work well with city or state departments.

California Wildlife Center kicked Rebecca Dmytryk off the board and kicked her off the property. The board claims Rebecca Dmytryk was destroying the organization. I know Rebecca Dmytryk and I believe this. This is a very good read, very entertaining, especially the declarations. It seems Rebecca Dmytryk destroyed property, stole money, drained bank accounts, got in an altercation on the property... California Wildlife Center is much better off without Rebecca Dmytryk. If she weren't kicked off the board, the organization would have closed.

Rebecca Dmytryk of WildRescue, Wildlife Emergency Services has been stalking, harassing and defaming me for years.

Rebecca Dmytryk of WildRescue is not a wildlife rehabilitator. Fish & Game told me she has never had a wildlife rehabilitation permit. Currently she calls herself a wildlife rescuer. Anyone can possess wildlife for up to 48 hours without a permit with the goal of getting the animal to a licensed rescuer. She has no Fish & Game permit at all.

Rebecca Dmytryk has been defaming me and others for years. She lives to attack people. She attacks cities, counties, Fish & Game, Fish & Wildlife, rehabbers, animal rescue groups...you name it. I will be posting her attacks. She currently has a blog devoted solely to me. She libels and defames me on that blog. She also uses my copyrighted photos without permission. I have asked her to remove her false blog and she refused. I will now be posting the truth about her.

She made an ihatemary page on Facebook. She posted lies about me under the user name Michael Hunt. Yes, it's the juvenile "my cunt" joke. This woman is older than me yet acts extremely juvenile. That page was removed as a violation of the terms of service.

She posted false and childish reviews on my Guidestar page. They were removed. I sent Guidestar a subpoena and received the identities of the posters. They were Rebecca Dmytryk and ****** ******. These two are friends. Yes, Rebecca Dmytryk is friends with someone whom the USDA veterinarian stated caused "pain and suffering" and "death" to bats. 

For some reason she is a member of the California Council for Wildlife Rehabilitators when she is not a rehabber. She likes to post in the group telling other licensed rehabbers what to do. Again, she is not a rehabber, does not know what she is talking about.

I was told by Brenda Varvarigos that Dmytryk tried to give a wild bird class at a wildlife rehabilitator symposium. Almost everyone walked out because she did not know what she was talking about.

In 2001 I didn't know who she was so I took her wildlife paramedic class. Every one corrected her in the class. I had to correct her as well. Dave Thraen of All Wildlife Rescue and Education also corrected her. For some reason Rebecca Dmytryk inserted unsterile room air into a bag of lactated ringers. Everyone cringed when she did it. She infected the bag yet had no idea that she did that.

During the class she showed video of herself who is not a wildlife rehabilitator giving a baby owl an entire mouse. The owl rehabbers were aghast. At that age mom would only feed mouse guts to the baby, not the entire mouse. After class a couple of owl rehabbers said that the baby owl most likely died from ingesting the whole mouse.

Another rehabber Brenda Varvarigos told me that Rebecca Dmytryk drove over to her house drunk one night with five baby skunks. Dmytryk started yelling at Brenda telling her she must wear thick leather gloves. These were tiny baby skunks. You don't need thick leather gloves. Brenda told me that Rebecca was super drunk and she almost called the cops on her.

I will be using this blog to share true information about this person besides legal documents. Her husband is Duane Titus. They live in Moss Landing in Northern California. They went bankrupt in 2010. I will be posting all of the documents. 

After she and her husband went bankrupt they were sued for bankruptcy fraud. They lost that lawsuit. They were found guilty of bankruptcy fraud. They intentionally ran up a bunch of credit cards with no means to make the minimum payments. That is illegal. Those debts were not discharged. They will follow them forever. This was October 2010. I'll be posting all of these documents. 

Rebecca Dmytryk has been defaming and attacking me for years. She proudly admits this and even brags about it in writing. Other times she thinks she's anonymous when she attacks me but she is not. The results of subpoenas have shown me that she is many anonymous users on the Internet. 

She started attacking me in 2003 when I was getting the new LA City wildlife policy passed. She lived in Malibu at the time. She wanted to force the City to hire her as a wildlife paramedic to drive animals from shelters to rehabbers for money. I'd already set up a free transportation system. She crashed a city meeting and illegally recorded it with her cell phone. This is the meeting where she demanded that they hire her or she will turn them in for touching a finch. The problem was the animal control person did not touch a finch but an unprotected house sparrow. Everyone in the room rolled their eyes are her stupidity. Those present were Brenda Varvarigos, Nicky Thole, Officer Gregory Randall, Commander David Diliberto and then Lieutenant(?) Wendell Bowers.

She also likes to attack me because I do free humane nuisance wildlife control. She charges for it. She and her husband basically don't have jobs even though she is a dog groomer and he's a licensed electrician. They basically live off WildRescue which is not a non-profit organization. They just started a new group which supposedly is a 501 3c. 

Rebecca's dad was a Canadian born film director named Edward Dmytryk. Rebecca here wants to be in charge of ALL wildlife rehabbers, rescuers, nuisance control operators. She tells people she is a wildlife expert.

She wants people to think that she's some wildlife expert but I don't believe that she is. I've watched her give very bad advice online to people. I've even spoken with cities, counties, animal control departments after she's spoken with them. They said she didn't know what she was talking. She also likes to threaten to sue everyone and attack them. She also likes to threaten to file false reports to authorities against others. She even threatens to turn cities into Fish & Wildlife, Fish & Game and the Health Dept. Fish & Game hates her.

A previous warden told me she was really bad news and I should have nothing to do with her. He told me that she told a man that he would move a hawk's nest to trim a tree. The guy did that, got in trouble then told the warden what happened.
